Responsibilities
• Solve advanced mathematical problems across competition math, proof-based mathematics, and quantitative reasoning
• Evaluate and provide expert feedback on AI-generated mathematical reasoning and proofs
• Develop original, research-grade problems spanning number theory, combinatorics, algebra, real analysis, and probability
• Apply quantitative and statistical methods to assess and improve model performance
• Collaborate with AI research teams to identify gaps and design targeted training tasks
Requirements
• Demonstrated participation or achievement in elite competitive mathematics (IMO, USAMO, Putnam, or equivalent)
• Deep proficiency across multiple mathematical disciplines, including proof-based mathematics, combinatorics, and analysis
• Strong quantitative background with mathematical rigor in research or industry
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Ability to produce precise, well-structured mathematical writing
Preferred
• Advanced degree in Mathematics
• Experience in quantitative finance, theoretical CS, or academic research
